The Scribosphere Tutorial
So, Scribosphere has gotten a good start, and more blogs have joined it.
As you already know, Scribosphere collects the best posts from the whole screenwriting community (almost), and make them available here. One site, one feed.
But lately you might have noticed that in some posts there's only half of the article, and then a link to the origin. Even if it still is very handy, cause you get them hand-picked here instead of searching 50 blogs for the good ones, it's not as practical.
Don't worry though, cause not all posts will be chopped. Two factors decide which ones will be cut down:
- The blog owner asked us to not publish them complete.
- The blog owner writes on screenwriting-related topics frequently (like in almost always).
The first reason is pretty obvious, but how about the second?
Well, if a blogger would post interesting articles about screenwriting frequently, that would mean we would transfer those same articles here frequently. Get it? I'm sure you do, you're probably smarter than us. Of course if you're one of these bloggers, you can always contact us and tell us it won't matter and that we can post them whole.
So in order to keep this in a win-win level, we will post complete articles from blogs with general posts in between the screenwriting topics, but keep the text slashed down on the rest of them.
One other enhancement we got from a dear blogger (MM), is that we comment on the posts that are published complete. Oughta be fun, we'll see.
We hope it won't be a biggie problem; the ground idea of this place is still there.
Have a good one, and remember that we need your feedback. E-mail if there's anything you want to unload from your hart.
